My boyfriend and I did not have any place to live, and Morgan’s place program accepted us. We stayed and went through their emergency, transitional, and temporary phase of their shelter program. Through this program, we were helped with case management, life skills, budgeting, credit counseling, food, support, and most of all housing. We were in Morgan’s place for roughly eleven months. In April we move out of Morgan’s Place and transition into one of their temporary phase units of which we can stay for 24 months. We have completed the credit counseling and are waiting for the permanent phase of buying one of their townhomes they are building in the spring. Not only did they provide us with housing but also once we moved out of Morgan’s place, they were able to offer my boyfriend a full-time job of which he started a month ago. We are so grateful for this program and would recommend to anyone who needs a new start.

I stayed in the Morgan’s Place program for about eight months. I transitioned from another shelter before living in Morgan’s place. My time at Morgan’s, they provided me with shelter, food, life skills, but most of all I am grateful that they assist me in getting custody back of my son and helped him get a job at McDonalds. Three months ago, Morgan’s placed help me find a three-bedroom apartment in Lewes Delaware. This program has been a blessing to me, and I would encourage anyone to join the program.
